  Hi Peter,

  SAD but no surprises here! Words don’t fail me on this topic.

  The SFO are apparently way too busy ‘trumping up’ charges against NZ’s biggest ‘fraudster’ ever APPARENTLY… Allan Hubbard … YEAH RIGHT!

  The question must be asked why Bryers/Hotchin/Watson etc,etc,etc get off scott free even though every NZer knows they are [Comment: allegedly or possibly, surely, Kieran, to be fair] outright thieves, and Allan Hubbard (who will be proven to be NO thief) becomes the whipping boy for the entire industry?

  Our opinions on these matters are well researched, and we are still researching further transactions and actions of the many players involved.

  My opinions come from my knowledge of the finance industry, what’s occurred in the Hubbard case, meeting with Allan in person many times, and discussing matters with many other people who have been privvy to this saga unfolding.

  FYI, I have no vested interest in these matters, nor have ever had any involvement, investments, loans from SCF or Hubbards empire, nor derived 1cent of income from any of my activities surrounding the Hubbard case.

  I do believe Allan is the most honourable and trustworthy citizen we have ever seen in the NZ finance community.

  Allans success as the most successful independent financier in NZ, combined with his trustworthy nature made him an easy target for less scrupulous people who will be identified publicly in due course complete with their ‘roles’ in this sad affair(which is easily evidenced by their own media statements and actions over time). Complex fraud is an understatement here.

  In fact this story is stranger than fiction… and frankly incomprehensible at first.

  Fortunately there are some class action suits being prepared (not by Allan) against some of the players involved as we speak.
  These class action suits are being prepared by some of Allan’s long term associates who know some of the truth surrounding what’s been going on.

  There has been fraud here alright, and the SFO is being watched closely to see if they can actually find the real culprits…

  The fact is that Allan has been HELPING people (not ripping them off) since before any of the real crooks in the finance industry were even born!

  SOMETHING’S VERY WRONG HERE…

  We should start a PSFO… (Peoples Serious Fraud Office) to ‘watch the watchers’!

  Guess we already have by default through our investigation into the Hubbard affair. For nearly 6 months we have been undertaking our own ‘enquiry’ into the shocking truth of what’s been happening at SCF, the government agencies and ‘advisors’ who have been appointed by the government to take action against Allan, as well as the government ministers involved like… John Key & Bill English.

  The picture we see is very detailed and very disturbing and will become public knowledge at the appropriate place and time.

  We sincerely hope the SFO DO find the real frauds involved in the Hubbard affair because we know who they are and they have left evidence behind in their transactions, words and actions…

  If the SFO do not find the real frauds here, then be assured we will be releasing a full picture of who they are and provide proof which incriminates these people.

  They know who they are and know they cannot re-write history, even though some of them are frantically trying to.

    Kieran,

    I like to read passionate argument and more so in defence of someone who may have been unfairly maligned. So thanks for sharing your view.

    But in your anguish about the treatment Allan Hubbard has been dished out, don’t slander or libel others unfairly. Calling those (disreputable, sure) businessmen “outright thieves” in your defence of AH does none of us any good.

    I must say, the more I read about the SCF shennanigans, the queasier I feel. -P

  Yes I agree we should not make statements about others UNFAIRLY.
  Ask the ex Blue chip investors if Bryers is a thief… I think we all know their answer. I’m happy to call ‘those guys’ thieves because based on their actions and the trail of financial and social destruction they leave behind in their wake they clearly are common thieves (even if they are ‘protected’ by thugs dressed as lawyers…).

  Many of the players in the ‘Hubbardgate’ affair are also thieves, and are yet to be exposed and held accountable.

  The only person we categorically know is NO thief in the Hubbardgate debacle is Allan Hubbard.

  Unfortunately the same cannot be said YET for any of the ‘potential rogues’ involved in the systematic daylight robbery of hundreds of millions of dollars from one of NZ’s most honourable men in history AND the New Zealand public.

  Many in NZ, including John Key, have been freely and openly slandering Hubbard in the media circus unfairly all year now, without any repercussions… John Key has even laid the entire blame for the SCF collapse at the feet of the 82 year old icon of NZ’s finance industry, when it appears that John Key has been closely involved in the orchestrated demise of SCF…

  The facts are not all tabled yet, but when they are you will be shocked (Bernard Hickey will be ashamed of his very wrong character assessment of Allan Hubbard). Remember the SFO etc have found NO FRAUD on Allan Hubbard and in fact have not indicated they can find any wrongdoing by Hubbard at all… yet he was placed in Stat Management BY THE GOVERNMENT as highly likely guilty of fraud (the SFO tell us they never start investigations lightly without strong evidence of possible fraud… YEAH RIGHT!).

  Peter, Yes I am passionate about this cause which I consider the most worthy cause in my entire life to date. That is not said lightly.

  We already know that John Key aka ‘the smiling assassain’ has turned to assassinating the charcter of one of his wealthiest and most noble citizens, blaming Allan Hubbard for SCF’s demise… One must wonder why…

  Then we remember that John KEY is most likely being blinded by his own valueset – the substance of which appears to be hidden in his blind trust/s. We know what John’s value set is now, based on his depolrable actions in ‘Hubbardgate’.

  Key will tell you he bailed us all out of SCF and he is a hero for doing so… Understand this NZ, John Key has bailed you IN, not out.

  I voted for National last vote and now I am disgusted to see what they are getting up to and I intend to do something about it.
  I voted so I have the right to complain!

  I thought we were living in a country of freedom and Democracy, not pre-war NAZI Germany, where they stole assets and exterminated peoples reputations and lives…

    I’ve got to say, you’re sounding a bit too invested in expressing these OPINIONS… with no evidence of the claims of ‘thievery’. Is it coming? If not, you do your argument/defence of AH no favours, in my view.

  Appreciate your feedback.

  There’s enough evidence to sink a ship but it’s rightfully the SFO’s job to find it and make it public knowledge (although there’s plenty of people close enough to the smelly stuff here to already be aware of the evidence).

  If the SFO do their job properly (and without conflict, or any political pressure…LOL!) they will find this evidence.

  If not rest assured we will choose our own forum to get this knowledge into the public domain and legally pursue the guilty parties.

  Forget about your concern for what I say and focus it where it belongs here… with the most trustworthy icon of NZ’s finance industry who has been categorically AMBUSHED, stripped of his repuitation which has been effectively demolished and wealth (sanctioned by government authorities..!)

  ALL OF THAT WITHOUT A TRIAL..?

  I care not for my own reputation but will do whatever I can to restore the honour that belongs to Allan Hubbard.
