Well Duh. Apple have already paid the price for gouging the public by intentionally having an upgrade path for the Mini by giving it a crappy screen.
More iPhone Plus justification: Apple doesn’t make just one size of anything else. Different people like different size devices.

They have to do a bigger Phone. It will be the expected standard of consumers very soon.
But judging by their HUGE gigantic (yet another pull the wool over peoples eyes) size increase from 4s to 5 they are not catching up any time soon.
Anyway they need other companies to truly innovate so then they can copy it call it some BS PR name and make it better. Problem is competition are now making better and cheaper toys than even Apples copies.
