The wonderful precision of the English language.
Of course being in NZ it’s not quite as funny as I am sure it is in the states since we don’t refer to our backsides as the can.
I am reminded of the TV advert that has a woman walking around with her beaver making the comment that she needs to look after it. It’s a rather cringe worthy advertisement.
@tpr2 re ‘can’ as a euphemism: Yes, granted, regional variations apply … but there’s something about the delivery by these actors, especially the golfer and the basket-baller, that just cracks me up (no pun intended). – P
