Does anyone know if this works?
I got a spammy-looking ‘link exchange request’ with this as the last line:
IF YOU’D LIKE TO MAKE SURE WE DON’T CONTACT YOU AGAIN, PLEASE FILL IN THE FOLLOWING FORM: emailsnomore(dot)com ; PLEASE ACCEPT OUR APOLOGIES FOR CONTACTING YOU.
… which redirects to what looks like a different website (but the name in the page logo — nomoremails.com — doesn’t work):
What do you think? Would YOU fill it in? – P
PS Take a look at the form here. It does say, reassuringly and in red: Your details will not be added to any lists or provided to any third parties.
I get one a week at least Peter, don’t send it back. It will subscribe you to a spam list.
Yes, thought so, thanks.
They’re relentless, aren’t they?:

This is a scam, Its a classic approach, Please fill in this to un-subscribe. What this does is confirms there is a real email address (after they randomly generate addresses) with a person at the end of it. Target confirmed.
This website was registered in New York which on the surface suggests it may work.
There is a legit -NZ ‘get me off telemarketing lists’ website, I have subscribed too so they do exist.
Cheers Craig. – P
