VIDEO: Small error in new NZ Herald TV commercial
I really like the new TV commercials for the New Zealand Herald.
One small problem though. In 1981….
and this …
(With apologies to Leonard Cohen.)

Just goes to show the level of the Anti National/Key shills.
Constantly coming with theory’s how knowing about Dotcom 6 months earlier than he remembers is a horrible state of affairs. Tea Tapes BS saga. The list goes on trying to make a story’s out of nothing.
When they miss real issues with real concerns.
Key claiming employment us ok That there is no Jobs crisis. And then chooses not to attend Manufacturing Conference. What Drivel. Key Man up and least represent.
These are real matters to NZ’ers This is what gets Labour back in Government. Not the crap banded about these parts
But no, run away and find more crappy blogs/media with no Substance to satisfy their own Agendas. And miss the real issues. Morons.
Craig, I’m not sure what’s provoked your comment, but whenever I hear someone say ‘These are the issues that matter to New Zealanders’, I sense they’re seeking a distraction. Same with grizzles about da media ‘trying to make a story out of nothing’.
Mr Key deployed both devices in the heat of the Teapots Tape scandal.
I’m curious: what did you make of Audrey Young’s piece in the NZ Herald today: Numbers starting to run against Key?
I’m not sure Audrey is right,* nor that Mr Key has got anything to worry about at this stage, although I note National Party attack blogger Cameron Slater has rent his toga and all but thrown in the towel for the 2014 election, based on poll results (describing a recent Roy Morgan poll as revealing “a situation where National no longer [has] much chance of being in government”.)
He frequently criticises National’s campaign ubergrupenfuhrer Steve Joyce and Mr Key for ‘strategic stupidity‘ in not opposing MMP during last year’s referendum. (Bear in mind mind that, as earlier disclosed, Cameron touts Mr Joyce’s rival Judith Collins as the next leader of the National Party.)
I don’t like to wade through the abuse and vitriol on Cameron’s hate blog much these days, but it’s been interesting to visit now and then during the last few weeks and observe the increasingly hysterical scorn and venom he’s poured on anyone who dares criticize his party leader, and his usual tiresome smear tactics (see above).
A little bit like your comment, Craig?

* Also, I’m curious about this bald, unsubstantiated assertion from Audrey Young’s article:
Oh really? As they say on all the best Wikipedia pages: ‘[citation needed]’.
I am not seeking a distraction. I am observing what NZer’s actually care about in this case I was commenting on employment. Things that matter to people. Not the Wag the Dog issues the Media drum up by Sabre Rattling the public and then have other media forums regurgitate the made up story’s claiming they must be true because it was on the Herald website. etc Mr Key may have deployed the Tea Pot Tape meeting but it was flamed way out of context by the likes of this Site making ridiculous claims and statements due to a stupid reporter, these sorts of C grade reporting in no way relates to what the Government should be focusing on or doing or not doing.
I guess Key is my leader as I voted for him. But I am still very impartial and treat all events from a neutral standpoint.
Unlike the Labour crowd here which are as deep into Labour as Slater is National. Just far more pleasant and thought provoking.
Gidday Craig … mate you are about as neutral as Dear Adolf in the invasion of Poland.
I’m not deep into labour – i sort of thought i was deep into the right thing and also pillorying Peter for every thing he says right or wrong – and openly accusing Poomastery of being a naughty swiss gnome with a fetish for double entendre … but i digress.
John Key is slowly emerging like a butterfly from a caterpillar as being a right little neo liberal shithouse. To quote Robin Hood men in tights …
“… they used to call me (key) ‘shithouse” but then they changed it in the 9th century to “Latrine”…” A shitbox or shithouse is always one of those no matter what you call it. Latrine was the lovely resident harridan witch – who was always trying to have it off with the “sheriff of rottingham” (who bears a striking resemblance to Steven Joyce)
I recommend the movie … you’ll piss yourself laughing …
