Important points about patriotism not being exclusively a ‘conservative’ trait — “Patriots who understand the constitution”, in her terms. That’s classic denigration of ‘The Other’. (And we all do that.)

Although I regard myself as a conservative, the sheer, unmitigated stupidity of this lady is quite frightening to behold. The “homespun” way Mrs Palin talks makes me cringe. She is simply an idiot.
What did the world’s greatest democracy do to deserve this?

The worlds greatest democracy …. ummm … isnt the jury out on that score …and has been since millions of native americans were murdered in a systemic manner – without any auschwitz memorial or bleeding heart offshore liberals to whinge on its behalf ….
Worlds greatest democracy …. sounds of coughing and spluttering ensue …
And lets not forget the several thousands of philipinos whose corpses were pushed into mass graves by Teddy Roosevelts “indian fighters” when the Phillipines were forcibly annexed by the worlds greatest democracy.
Sarah Palin is a living and breathing example (unfortunately) of the neo liberal way of thinking – and the so called ‘conservative’ way of thinking as well.
One would think we would all have learned our lesson after “Raygun” and Thatcher ….
