As you may know I work in IT and Code everyday its not my primary Role.
This Video is just BS Coding is no more important than English Math Science and PE. but the most important skill is read books read people read. Coding certainly helps with Logic skills troubleshooting, testing, but that’s about it. Its a social disaster coders generally become socially struck down. Its boring! coding read the dictionary in Spanish 5 hours a day there’s Coding.
This is way over glamourised.
Into every life a little hyperbole must fall.
There’s no harm done with this romantic portrayal, methinks. They’re just opening a conversation about possible vocations.
The strategy of creating super attractive workplaces to attract talent — well, I don’t know if that’s all that useful. But hey, it’s a good way to get your workforce stay at work.
I read a post today that talked about HARDWARE designers and manufacturers as the real aristocracy … any nerd can write an app … but who can make the componentry?

Exactly its not difficult to promote and any job on this Planet as the critical link in the chain of society.
But with Apps and certain websites being so popular its easy to grab peoples attention. Reminds me of Property or Share Trading when the markets are flying high.
One thing I forgot to say before is Scripters are well paid. Well the important ones.
I am a Systems Administrator. More specifically Enterprise Systems Administrator. which like Coding is not the most glamorous job.
