I’m really pleased to have stumbled across this performer, Morgan James. See if you enjoy watching her introduce herself in this feature below, as I did, so much …
The last few lines (and the last line in particular) declare such self-awareness, it gave me goosebumps. Here she proves it’s true …
Good on her. I’ve just bought her album Hunter on iTunes.
Here’s a link to her youtube channel. See what you think of her cover of Dolly Parton’s Jolene.

PS You can’t argue with someone who loves Sade.

Cool! Thanks. Not clear whether Morgan James is coming as part of the tour?
It’ll probably depend on ticket sales, Scott Bradlee has been cagey on the make-up of the tour vocalists. In all the material Morgan James is heavily promoted separately on the bill. Hopefully we’ll get to hear her vocals! BTW, I didn’t like her album, she is much better with the PMJ.
I get it. I’m liking the Postmodern Jukebox too. I have a soft spot for that sound, but I am really enjoying Hunter. A lot. It’s excellent music, and nicely produced.
Just took my son and his mate off to a noodle bar for a late lunch and played a bit of the album in my car … Morgan James can certainly pack some oomph!
I like Haley Reinhart. Thought I recognised her in that version of ‘Creep’.
This is one of my favourite songs by her … live, somewhat raw version of Michael Jackson’s ‘Earth Song’ …
PS The other big talent they have is Haley Reinhart. Check out her cover of Radiohead’s “Creep” –

With Reinhart, Savales and Morgan along with their regular vocalists they’ll probably have to leave someone at home!
